This is how it works. Time should be managed in a way that keeps you interested and motivated, without you becoming tired and losing concentration.

 

This is done by breaking your lessons into twenty minute segments.

 

• The first twenty minutes is a recap and consolidation of earlier lessons, a drive to a suitable training area and a settling in period.
• The last twenty minutes is a debrief and evaluation of progress made and time to wind down on the way back to the drop off point.
• In a one hour lesson this leaves only twenty minutes to develop new skills.
• Even with a second one hour lesson in the same week this gives only a total of forty minutes of new skills training.
• In a properly structured two hour lesson, three twenty minute new skill training segments can be achieved.
• With a commitment to regular training you can expect to reduce the number of hours required to prepare for a driving test by up to one third.
