Be wary of bargain basement prices, they usually mean you get bargain basement training which in the long run means more lessons and more expense.
Learning to drive, in common with any other learning process, is easier when you are enjoying yourself. You take in and process information at a greater rate than when you feel stressed or under pressure. Your driving instructor’s job is to give you challenging and achievable goals and provide the support and guidance you require to achieve them. He or she must be ready to modify instruction methods to suit you as an individual. At the end of your lesson you should feel you have achieved something and be looking forward to your next challenge.
If you don’t, that's not your fault. If your demoralised and dreading the next lesson, or bored because you've not been stretched it means that your instructor has got it wrong. What may be an easily achievable goal for one pupil may be a huge hurdle that needs to be broken down into its component parts and tackled piece by piece by another.
