Instructor to accompany candidates on Test . From the 6th. Of April examiners will ask Driving Test Candidates if they would like their instructor to sit in on their driving test. Instructors have always been allowed to sit in on tests, but few took up the option. The DSA in an attempt to encourage more instructors to do so are making candidates aware that  this option is available. It is the candidate who decides and they should not feel under pressure either way.
