Motorway Lessons are probably the most popular type of lessons taken up once a Driving Test has been passed. The good news is that here in West Central Scotland is the ideal place to take motorway lessons. Why? Because right on our doorstep we have such a diverse mix of motorways that within about two to three hours you can cover everything from the monotony of long stretches of arrow straight rural motorways to the complexity of six lanes with traffic joining and leaving from both the left and the right.

Given all this diversity of motorway types so close to hand, there is a fair chance that before not to long you will have to deal with most of them, so an investment in a few hours tuition now may well save you some scary moments or worse in the near future. So what will you learn during your motorway lessons ? To make a list of everything that will be covered would be so boring that you probably wouldn't read all the way to the end of it. So to summarise. You will be taught deal confidently with any situation that may arise by good forward planning. This will be achieved by awareness of what other drivers around you are doing, making best use of all roadside and gantry signs and road markings These are particularly important in busy urban motorway environments. You will also be taught how prepare for a long unfamiliar journey and how to recognise and cope with the effect of fatigue that can occur during long spells behind the wheel, and how to deal with accidents and emergencies.
